Travel Labor & Delivery RN needed in Everett, Washington for a 13-week high-acuity maternity care assignment. Join a collaborative Labor & Delivery healthcare team supporting mothers and newborns in antepartum, postpartum, triage, and OR settings.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Setting: High-risk perinatal care with Labor & Delivery, postpartum, antepartum, triage, and OR support

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or compact license in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate or Relias accepted; AWHONN Advanced strongly preferred
• Strong experience with sterile vaginal exams (SVE) required
• Experience supporting high-risk antepartum, labor, postpartum, and triage patients
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfortable floating to postpartum as needed
• Ability to work weekends and commit to holiday coverage as scheduled
• Experience in high-volume maternity units is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and support labor progression assessments
• Administer medications and treatments including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and other ordered therapies
• Support newborn transition, assessment, thermoregulation, and neonatal resuscitation when needed
• Collaborate with providers, surgical teams, and support staff to maintain excellent patient flow and safety
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate clearly with the care team
• Float to postpartum when assigned and contribute to a team-oriented patient care environment
