Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring 1+ year of IR experience and ARRT-R certification.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit with potential to float to Cath Lab and EP as needed with required procedures
  • Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a variable day off
  • Call requirement of 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend rotation based on staffing volume
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • ARRT-R and BLS certifications required; ACLS and ARRT-VI preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
  • Skilled in vascular, genitourinary, abdominal/pelvic, neurological, and venous access procedures
  • Experience with angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, angiography, and biopsy procedures preferred
  • Proficiency with PACS and EKG lead placement
  • Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers accepted for this unit
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and neurological studies
  • Maintain and operate imaging and procedural equipment
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, finalized at time of submission
  • Holiday coverage required per facility policy based on number of major holidays occurring during the assignment
  • Returning employees or travelers must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before reapplying
