Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to interventional radiology, with a focus on patient prep, recovery, and procedural support. The position requires flexibility to accommodate various shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 07:30 AM to 12:30 PM; other weekends and holidays are off. Various shift start times include 06:30 AM, 07:15 AM, and 08:00 AM; shifts are 10 hours in length. On-call duties are required 2-3 shifts per month.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, active nursing license, a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within interventional radiology, required certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Additional Information: Nursing experience in prep and recovery for interventional radiology procedures including computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine (NM), and fluoroscopy (Flouro). The position requires working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
