Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per schedule period). Patient ratio 1:2.

  • First-time travelers welcome with 1.5+ years of ICU experience
  • Flexible scheduling with option for 36 or 48 hours per week at straight time
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start date)
  • May float to Medical-Surgical, Stepdown, PCU, Emergency Department, or CVICU with patient ratio capped at 4:1 maximum while floating

Requirements:

  • Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state license (pending accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with 1:2 patient ratio experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
  • Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, cardiac drip titration, and blood product administration
  • Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, continuous IV sedation, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
