Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment. Patient ratio 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed.

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma ICU experience in a 16-bed unit with 14 private rooms
• Epic charting system utilized for all patient documentation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Adult patient population with advanced critical care needs including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Orientation provided with onsite module completion during initial training period
• Half of weekends required throughout the contract duration

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Competencies in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and IV therapy
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
