Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per schedule period). Patient ratio 1:2.

  • First-time travelers welcome with 1.5+ years of ICU experience
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48 hours per week available
  • Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted; must be obtained prior to start date
  • May float to medical-surgical, stepdown, PCU, emergency department, or CVICU with a maximum patient cap of 4:1 when floating

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico or Compact state; pending license accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
