- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week
- Schedule: Option for 36 or 48 hours per week, with weekends required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
- Floating: May float to similar areas such as MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, and CVICU as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending New Mexico or compact license accepted prior to start
- Minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience providing adult critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Comfort working weekend shifts and floating to similar units when needed
- Strong clinical skills in ICU monitoring, medication administration, and critical care workflows
- First-time travel nurse experience is welcome
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult ICU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and vasoactive drips
- Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and other critical patient data to support timely interventions
- Administer treatments, medications, and blood products according to unit standards
- Support patients with multisystem conditions, stroke care, and post-operative critical care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold a safe, compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Adapt to changing patient assignments and float to like units as needed
