Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nurse experience required
• Current acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and emergency medication administration
• Ability to manage ventilated patients, central line care, dysrhythmias, ABGs, triage, stroke care, and IV vasopressors
• Associate degree or higher from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one manager, director, or formal supervisor

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care to emergency patients with complex oncology-related needs
• Perform triage, assess patient acuity, and prioritize care in a fast-moving emergency department environment
• Start and maintain IV access, administer medications, and support blood product administration
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Provide care for patients requiring oxygen support, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator management
• Assist with stroke evaluations, STEMI care, and other high-acuity emergency nursing interventions
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary clinical team to support efficient, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold strong clinical and compliance standards
