Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Room – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. At least 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule. Patient ratio: 5:1. Overtime available after 48 hours in one week.

Highlights:

  • 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
  • First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of ER experience preferred
  • 40-bed Emergency Department with 90 daily census serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, and more
  • Trauma center experience with exposure to Level I and Level II trauma cases
  • 24-hour orientation with Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS
  • Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with arterial line management, central line care, ventilated patients, blood product administration, and IV vasopressors
  • Proficiency in triage, starting/maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, and interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the location
