Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position in a Free Standing ED setting requiring TNCC and CPI certifications.

Details

• Work in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Uses ventilator and point-of-care lab equipment
• Meditech EMR system used
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Certification, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• FSED experience preferred
• Experience with IV starts and 12-lead EKG/patient assessment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform IV starts, 12-lead EKG, and patient assessments in a fast-paced ED environment
• Team includes RN and CNC staff on both day and night shifts
• Navy blue scrub color required

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
