Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department / Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Preferred: Meditech experience
• Preferred: Trauma nursing experience
• Preferred: Holding or inpatient experience
• Preferred: CPI certification
• Strong multitasking, teamwork, and self-starter mindset

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to a wide range of patient needs
• Support trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, and fast-track patient care
• Perform and assist with splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, airway support, and resuscitation efforts
• Assist with central lines, rapid infusers, and trauma interventions as needed
• Help with behavioral health de-escalation and patient safety measures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the broader healthcare team to deliver efficient, compassionate care
• Follow all unit policies, procedures, and documentation standards
