Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Boston, MA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a very busy emergency department, which holds up to 120 treatment areas and serves 350-440 patients per day. You will be part of a dynamic team, providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details: This position requires 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week, including 2 weekends in a 4-week period and every other holiday. Please note that candidates who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered for a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate. Flexibility is required, as you may float to Psych ED and Pediatric ED, caring for patients aged 15 and older unless you have previous pediatric experience.

Required Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 ED experience. You should be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, identify heart blocks, and pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher.

Preferred Experience: Familiarity with EPIC, previous travel assignments, and critical care experience are preferred.

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications must be active and unexpired.

Patient Ratio: You will typically care for 4-5 patients, depending on acuity.

Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms while on assignment at the facility.
