Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or Compact license and TNCC certification.

Details

• Combined adult/pediatric Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 1900-0730, including weekends and holidays
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required, minimum six months, with extensions highly preferred
• Experience with a wide range of ED skills including IV therapy, respiratory management, cardiac monitoring, neurological trauma care, and psychiatric emergencies

• Provide emergency care across a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and psychiatric cases
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
