Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 prior travel contracts.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend rotation or based on department needs
  • Every other holiday rotating with regular staff
  • Care for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • At least 2 prior travel contracts required
  • TNCC certification preferred, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Certification preferred
  • Ascension MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

  • Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
  • Covid vaccination is not required for this position
