Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and prior travel contracts.

Details

• Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend or based on department needs
• Every other holiday rotating with regular staff
• Care for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• EPIC EMR used
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• 2 years of ED experience required
• At least 2 prior travel contracts required
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
• Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide direct emergency care across critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support to ensure patient safety
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
