Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and 2 prior travel contracts.

Details

  • Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Every other weekend or based on department needs
  • Every other holiday rotating with regular staff
  • Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
  • May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
  • At least 2 prior travel contracts required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • Ascension MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
  • Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills
  • Ability to escalate concerns appropriately to ensure patient safety

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department-Trauma setting
  • Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure safe, timely patient management
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by location
