Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting in a hospital
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active RN license, CO or compact required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required, not expiring prior to start
  • ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
  • PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
  • Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care including health teaching and counseling
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
  • Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
