    Contract | 13-Week or 26-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No Weekends | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide clinical nutrition assessment, intervention, and monitoring for inpatient populations, with a strong emphasis on pediatric patients
    • Document patient care activities and nutrition plans using Epic electronic health records
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
    • Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
    • Participate in required onboarding modules (completed pre-start and annually); average approximately 16 hours
    • Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RD or RDN credential required; candidates with a pending state license may be considered (licensure typically takes 10–12 weeks)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system
    • Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations are not accepted)
    • 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Pediatric clinical nutrition experience strongly preferred
    • Prior travel assignment experience welcomed; first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience are accepted
    • Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
