    Contract | 13 or 26 Weeks | Days | 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No Weekends | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive dietary and nutritional assessment and care within an acute hospital setting
    • Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
    • May be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
    • Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RD or RDN credential required; pending Alaska state license accepted (licensure takes approximately 10–12 weeks)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system
    • 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    • Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers and declinations are not accepted by the facility
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Pediatric (peds) dietitian experience strongly preferred
    • Prior travel assignment experience is a plus; first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience are welcome
