Candidates should have experience in pediatrics. The assignment length is flexible between 13 and 26 weeks based on the traveler's choice. Shifts are Monday to Friday with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekend shifts required. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirement. The role does not require on-call responsibilities. Due to the nature of the role, structured experience with both adult and pediatric patients is desirable. Knowledge of enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition is necessary. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Travelers must be willing to float between various units if necessary. All time-off requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
