Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position in Ohio, requiring cardiac ICU expertise and proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.

Details

• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• CVICU setting within a dedicated heart hospital
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:1–2
• Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period; Friday/Saturday nights for night shift
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Skills required: IV start, telemetry, mechanical ventilation, Swan-Ganz catheter (PA lines), conscious sedation, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz/PA lines, balloon pumps, and conscious sedation required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — no coworker references accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply after a 6-month separation period
