Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Medical ICU float pool role requiring an active MA license and Level 1 trauma experience.

Details

• Medical ICU float position within a Critical Care Float Pool unit
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• 36 hours per week over an 8-week assignment
• Float required across ICU areas

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2+ years of related ICU experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Maximum of 3 days RTO permitted, with no RTO approved for holidays and all requests must be submitted upfront
• Returning employees must complete a 6-month break between assignments at any facility within this health system
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
