Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with Level 1 trauma experience for a critical care float pool position requiring an active MA license.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool unit within the PCS department
• Medical ICU patient population
• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 36 hours per week
• Floating required across the critical care float pool
• No charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS/CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of related ICU work experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required

Additional Information

• Care provided within a Level 1 trauma academic medical center setting
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
• Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu shot (medical exemptions allowed)
• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required depending on campus
• Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed, with no holiday RTO approved
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
