This 13-week travel nurse assignment offers ICU Registered Nurse professionals the opportunity to care for complex medical, surgical, and trauma patients in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Setting: 24-bed Level I Trauma Center ICU
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with day/evening coverage; every other weekend rotation and some holidays
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Testing Requirement: Telemetry exam required prior to start
• Additional Schedule Option: Unit may consider 4x12s for the right candidate

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Experience in medical, surgical, and trauma ICU care required
• Prior experience in a Trauma Level I environment required
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required through AHA only
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to float as needed
• Must successfully pass telemetry testing with strict passing criteria
• References must be removed prior to submission

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage complex medical, surgical, and trauma ICU cases
• Support patients requiring advanced life support therapies, including ECMO and continuous dialysis
• Administer and titrate critical drips, ventilator support, and other ICU interventions as indicated
• Perform patient assessments, collaborate with the care team, and respond to emergent situations across the hospital as needed
• Use Epic documentation accurately and efficiently
• Work effectively with interdisciplinary support services to promote positive patient outcomes
• Contribute to a team-focused, evidence-based environment that values excellence in critical care nursing
