  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: Day/Evening coverage, every other weekend, and some holidays; 3x12s preferred, with 4x12s considered
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Floating: Required as needed
  • Orientation: Includes required onboarding and telemetry testing prior to start

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Recent acute care experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
  • Experience in medical ICU, surgical ICU, and trauma ICU settings required
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
  • Ability to care for adults and geriatric patients in a high-acuity environment
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality bedside care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced life support therapies
  • Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication management
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Respond to urgent patient changes and assist with emergency interventions throughout the hospital as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established ICU protocols
  • Float to support staffing needs when required
