Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN with a TX or compact license and at least 2 years of PICU experience for a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center unit.

Details

• 24-bed Level 1 Trauma Center PICU treating neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patients
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Staffing ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on ICU status
• Floating required to CVICU, NICU, and North Campus 12-bed PICU as needed
• Navy scrubs required, pediatric print tops allowed

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU specialty experience required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start required
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide high-acuity critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients in a fast-paced trauma center environment
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
