The position requires recent experience in open-heart surgery, vascular surgery, and endovascular procedures. Candidates must have Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. On-call responsibilities include one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. Weekends are included in the on-call rotation. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:1 during the night shift. Common procedures performed include CABG, aortic/mitral valve repair/replacement, and AAA endovascular/open surgery. Other procedures include AV fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy, TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip placements. The ideal candidate will be mature, team-oriented, flexible with their schedule, and willing to assist others. Candidates should possess good attendance and punctuality.
