Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a TX or compact license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed Cardiovascular ICU within a critical care setting
• Patient population is 80% high-risk cardiac surgery (Open Heart Recovery, Heart Transplants, LVAD Implants, ECMO, Impella, IABP, CRRT) and 20% advanced heart failure
• Utilizes Swan Ganz Catheters and CCO Monitoring
• EMR system used is Cerner/COMPASS
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• Float requirement to MICU/SICU/Medical or Cardiac Stepdown Units as needed
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Preferred experience with Cardiac Advanced Device Therapy Management, including at minimum IABP, IMPELLA, and Swan-Ganz Management
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
