The role requires flexibility with scheduling, the ability to manage complex patient conditions, and experience with advanced ICU equipment and protocols.

  • Required Qualifications: State RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 2+ years of ICU experience, willing to float to similar units, EPIC documentation experience, open to flexible scheduling, previous travel experience in a busy hospital environment, proficient with ventilators, pressors, hemodynamics, sheaths, IABP, Impella, CRRT, sedation management, titration of drips, and ventilator troubleshooting.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must have managed critically ill patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, STEMI, pulmonary emboli, arrhythmias, and MICU overflow. Experience working with tele monitors and interpreting strips is required. Must be capable of intervening in emergencies, including self-extubation or trach dislodgement. Critical care support includes minimal patient care technician assistance, hospitalist or intensivist presence 24/7, and high proficiency with ICU equipment.
