The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse for a night shift position. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a busy Level 1 trauma hospital, focusing on critically ill patients with complex needs, including ventilator management, pressor titration, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Job Details

  • Position Description: ICU RN needed for a large, Level 1 trauma unit with high acuity patient load. Must be flexible to float to similar units, work nights, and adhere to a defined schedule.
  • Required Qualifications: Active ACLS and BLS certifications, NIHSS certification, at least 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting, current license to practice, willing to wait for license submission.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have experience managing ventilators, pressors, hemodynamics including PAC, CVP, and arterial lines. Skills in troubleshooting ventilators and emergency intervention are required. Nurse:Patient Ratio is 1:2, occasionally 1:1, with minimal patient care assistant support. Telehealth monitors are interpreted and managed by the nurse. Preference for candidates with previous travel experience and a background in busy hospitals.
  • Submission Requirements: Must be willing to wait for license submission and complete two 12-hour unit orientation shifts.
