Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 36-hour night shift position requiring active MA licensure and the ability to read cardiac telemetry strips.

Details

• New 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
• Adult medical patient population
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1 RN to 4-5 patients
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Rotating shifts required as needed to cover open night shifts, including a couple of day shift rotations per month
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• 3 years of experience in one location required
• 2 years of experience working as a Traveler required
• Must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips
• Epic EMR experience

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical telemetry patients
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
