Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Medical Telemetry RN for a 13-week nights and every-other-weekend assignment requiring active MA RN licensure and the ability to read cardiac telemetry strips.

Details

• Work in a new 24-bed private room inpatient Medical Telemetry unit
• Adult medical patient population
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients to 1 RN
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every-other-weekend requirement
• Rotation required as needed to cover open night shifts, including occasional day rotations a couple times per month
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• 3 years of RN experience in one location required
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care to adult medical patients on a 24-bed unit
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates must disclose requested time off (RTO) at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not likely to meet the experience requirements for this role given the required prior travel experience
