Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN with strong cardiac background for a night shift position requiring active MA RN licensure and telemetry interpretation skills.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit setting
• Patient population includes post-cath care patients (PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation) with TR Band and femoral approach procedures
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional licenses accepted
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with strong cardiac background required
• Prior traveler experience of 2 years required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and administering cardiac drips for medical cardiology patients
• Provide post-cardiac catheterization care including monitoring for PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applying for local status
• Two professional references required for consideration
