Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience or specialty experience
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• AHA ACLS preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a patient-centered acute care environment
• Willingness to work major and minor holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients in an acute GI medicine setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support treatment plans
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
• Respond appropriately to patient needs, clinical updates, and changing priorities
• Support a safe, efficient, and positive care environment for patients and staff
