Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg or acute care nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current NIH certification
• AHA ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Promote a safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care environment
• Support workflow needs in a busy med/surg unit while maintaining high standards of care
