Assignment Overview

Join the GN200 Acute Care unit as a Travel Registered Nurse. Ideal candidates are experienced in managing a variety of medical diagnoses in a 29-bed unit with a typical census of 22 to 26 patients. The unit emphasizes collaboration among healthcare professionals to ensure quality care in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with various diagnoses such as GI bleeds, sepsis, and CHF
  • Administer and titrate Heparin drips
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including a 24-hour charge RN and patient care techs
  • Ensure patient safety with the support of remote telemetry monitoring
  • Float to other med/surg units as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL RN license or confirmation of application initiation
  • BLS certification
