Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Documentation Specialist to support a Trade Services team with daily operational activities. This role focuses on processing trade-related documentation, supporting letters of credit transactions, handling document collections, and ensuring accurate execution of trade service functions. The ideal candidate will have experience within securities operations, trade services, or banking operations and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Handle and process documentation related to lines of credit and trade transactions
Review letters of credit and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
Manage document collections and trade services documentation workflows
Open, sort, and process incoming trade-related packages
Scan, index, and capture trade documents into internal systems
Distribute documents according to established instructions and procedures
Assist with daily Trade Services operational activities and transaction processing
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with operational guidelines
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
4+ years of Securities Operations, Trade Services Operations, Banking Operations, or related experience
Experience working with Letters of Credit, including reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy
Knowledge of Document Collections processes within Trade Services
Basic understanding of international trade logistics, including the movement of goods and import/export documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of documentation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience working in Trade Services, Import/Export Operations, or International Banking (preferred)
Familiarity with bank-to-bank documentation and trade finance processes
SharePoint user experience
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:
Word
Excel
Outlook
