Position Overview

Finish Line Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Test Technician II for an opportunity with a client in Marlborough, MA. This role focuses on testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic test equipment while supporting production operations and customer technical needs.The ideal candidate has strong electronic troubleshooting skills, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic test equipment.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades on production and customer-owned equipment.
• Diagnose electronic issues down to the board or subassembly level using analog and digital troubleshooting techniques.
• Operate oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DVMs), frequency counters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Document test results, equipment failures, and repairs in production databases.
• Provide technical support and remote troubleshooting assistance to customers.
• Complete testing, calibration, and repair activities within established deadlines.
• Recommend improvements to testing procedures, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with customer orders and technical requests as needed.
• Communicate equipment status, technical findings, and repair updates to internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Electronic Technician Certificate required.
• Minimum of 3 years of electronic testing, troubleshooting, calibration, or repair experience.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, frequency counters, and related electronic test equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems to the board or subassembly level.
• Experience testing and repairing power industry test equipment preferred.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
