Duration : 12 Months – Temp-to-Hire
Location : Waltham, MA 02453
Shift : 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Job Description
The Production Test Technician II will perform a variety of computer-based functions and mechanical assembly activities in a production environment. This role will be responsible for wiring, hand soldering, potting of tubes, and setting up and adjusting processes according to required tolerances.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of functions using computer systems.
- Perform mechanical assembly activities.
- Follow established methods and sequence of operations.
- Perform wiring and hand soldering.
- Perform potting of tubes.
- Set up production processes and equipment.
- Adjust processes to meet required tolerances.
- Follow established production procedures and quality requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail during assembly and testing activities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of related experience.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills.
- Experience with wiring and hand soldering.
- Ability to perform potting operations.
- Ability to set up and adjust processes according to specified tolerances.
- Comfortable using computers and production-related systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
