Title: Test Architect
Locations: Jersey City, NJ - Dallas, TX - Tampa, FL - Onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Architect to join our team for a 6-month engagement. This role involves designing and governing scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend systems, while integrating these frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation, with a proven track record of designing enterprise-wide testing solutions.
- Experience in designing/developing scalable frameworks across UI, API, and data layers.
- Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured, TestNG.
- Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD & DevOps, specifically Jenkins.
- Strong experience in API automation and backend validation.
- Agile delivery experience with continuous testing and automation pyramid alignment.
- Defect & Quality Management: RCA, defect triage, reporting using Jira/AL.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with shift-left methodologies and rapid feedback systems.
- Experience conducting analysis of alternatives and selecting automated testing tools.
- Experience with end-to-end testing (SIT, regression, integration) and continuous testing enablement in DevOps pipelines.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Architect and govern scalable, robust test automation frameworks from the ground up for UI, API, and backend systems.
- Integrate automated testing seamlessly into deployment pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Conduct analysis of alternatives and select the best automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium).
