Role summary:

The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and efficient exterior facility operations. The technician supports cost control through procurement and warranty management, leads third-party providers, and delivers quality assurance inspections. What you''ll do:

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation compliance.
• Coordinate purchases, cost estimates, and budget preparation for facility projects and repairs.
• Lead third-party providers and support associate development through coaching and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.

What you''ll bring:

• Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to exterior facility services.
• Ability to manage budgets, including cost estimation and approval of purchases for parts and equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer service issues effectively.
• Competence in coordinating third-party providers and leading teams to achieve operational goals.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
