Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $65,000 $80,000/year
Schedule: Full-Time
Work Split: Approximately 60% Field / 40% Office- Can Vary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to support residential projects in Dallas, TX. This role combines project coordination, administrative responsibilities, and hands-on field involvement, with approximately 60% of the position focused on field operations and 40% in the office.

The ideal candidate will have a technical trade background, preferably in elevator mechanics, HVAC, or a similar mechanical field, along with experience in project coordination, project management, scheduling, or administration.

This is not primarily an elevator mechanic position. The successful candidate will use their technical field knowledge to coordinate residential projects, communicate with customers and field personnel, monitor project progress, and handle project-related administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate residential projects from planning through completion.
  • Spend approximately 60% of the time in the field supporting project operations.
  • Visit residential job sites to monitor progress and address project needs.
  • Coordinate schedules, timelines, materials, technicians, and contractors.
  • Communicate with customers, field personnel, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Review project requirements, drawings, and specifications as needed.
  • Track project progress, documentation, schedules, and work orders.
  • Assist with purchasing, materials, and project logistics.
  • Identify and communicate field issues, delays, or changes.
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for residential projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination, project management, field operations, or administration preferred.
  • Technical trade experience strongly preferred.
  • Elevator Mechanic or HVAC experience is highly preferred.
  • Residential construction or service experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/technical field operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working primarily in the field while also handling office responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000 $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
