Responsibilities: of the Systems Engineer: Translate customer, business, and marketing needs into system requirements and design inputs. Define and decompose system requirements into subsystem requirements. Develop and influence system architecture for complex automation platforms. Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams. Serve as a liaison between product, marketing, regulatory, and engineering teams. Support design tradeoff analysis and technical decision-making. Ensure requirements are testable and support verification and validation activities. Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into product requirements. Support product development throughout the full lifecycle. Qualifications: of the Systems Engineer: 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting complex electromechanical products, robotics, automation systems, or integrated hardware/software solutions. Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Strong experience with requirements gathering, requirements decomposition, and system architecture development. Experience working across software, firmware, hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering disciplines. Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and V-Model development processes. Experience with verification, validation, and requirements traceability. Experience in regulated industries or medical device development is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. Compensation: for the Systems Engineer includes: Salary range: $70-$90/hr depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.
