Description

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Oxford area who is hiring a CNC Screw Machine Setup/Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity working Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm with occasional Friday overtime.

Job Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-spindle screw machines to produce precision components
Develop and adjust tooling layouts, tooling sequences, speeds/feeds, and cycle times
Set and adjust cams, gears, and mechanical gearing to ensure proper machine operation
Grind and set form tools, shave tools, drills, cutoffs, and other machining tools
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to maintain quality and production efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and resolve issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

Several years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC or multi-spindle screw machines
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machine setup
Ability to troubleshoot tooling, machining, and production issues
Strong blueprint reading skills
Understanding of cams, gears, and mechanical gearing
Experience grinding and setting various cutting and forming tools
Mechanical or manufacturing engineering education is a plus
Experience with SolidWorks or similar engineering/design software is a plus
Acme-Gridley and/or Davenport multi-spindle screw machine experience a plus
