Mechanical Systems Engineer

Payrate: $40.54 - $41.54/hr.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products.
• Manage the implementation of multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date.
• Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to provide engineering support.

 
Qualifications

• Proficient in 3D CAD and other engineering tools & systems (Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS, etc.).
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems and the ability to troubleshoot them.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T.
• Experience taking designs from ideas to fully implemented into production.
• Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering.

 
Skills

• Advanced engineering degree.
• Experience with commercial mowing products or parallel industries.
• Experience with gasoline and diesel engines and engine systems.
• Experience with design for manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and/or Six Sigma methodologies.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.54 - $41.54 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
