- Work with end users and the development teams to define,planand build complexapplications(typically using Java andJavascript/Typescript).
- Translation of therequirements,UI/UX designs and high-fidelity prototypesto produce visual elements of the applicationand desired behavior.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Promoting strict code peer review practices as well as testing and validation to ensure high-quality coding standards.
- Maintenance of software applications throughout the lifecycle of the product

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- 8-15yearsof post-graduate hands-on experience developing java applications and/or responsive web applications
- Java and/or web-based application development usingJavascript/Typescript
Preferred:
- Experience developing applications with Oracle/SQL databasesusing programming languages such asJava,JavaScript/Typescript, and React
- Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- A solid understanding of how applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Experience in DevOps CI/CDpipelinesisadvantageous
- Experience with automated testing,e.g.Selenium,jUnit.
