    Overview

    This position provides Technical Project Management for the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) for COLUMBIA class construction, test, and integration of SWS/SWSS equipment in Groton, CT.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Apply Process Improvements and Lean Six Sigma principals to the construction and testing of the SWS/SWSS for the Columbia Class.
    • Development Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help identify areas management to align company resources and support.
    • Apply mathematical and statistical analysis to support appropriate construction and testing sequences.
    • Map and define construction and test activities to ensure they meet technical and schedule requirements.
    • Adjust the ARETMIS network and Work Orders as required to meet technical requirements.
    • Identify lessons learned to the business to support real time work execution improvements.
    • Identify areas of ships design and requirements to improve construction, testing, requirements capture, and throughput.
    • Interface with all levels of GDEB Leadership and Government Stakeholders.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial, Systems, Chemical, Management, Process, or Data Science engineering
    • 0-5 years of post-graduate experience
    • Ability to read system diagrams and similar engineering drawings
    • Work travel will be required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Statistical Process Control
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Project Management Experience
    • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
