Pay Range:  $22.50 - $25.00 / hour

The Hamilton's sushi program is one of the most recognized in DC. Our sushi program and happy hour is legendary, drawing a packed house daily and putting our sushi front and center. This is high-volume work with high standards — the kind of role where your skills get noticed and your speed gets respected.

Part of Clyde's Restaurant Group's 14-concept DMV portfolio, The Hamilton is one of DC's most iconic dining and live music destinations. We're located in the heart of downtown, steps from Metro Center and McPherson Square (Red, Blue, Orange, and Silver lines) — easy to get to, impossible to overlook.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in sushi preparation — nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls
• Strong knife skills and solid knowledge of fish butchery and handling
• The ability to move with speed and precision during peak happy hour rushes
• A clean, organized approach to station management and food safety
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Pride in your craft and a team-first attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute The Hamilton's renowned sushi menu with consistency and care
• Own your station through one of DC's busiest happy hour services
• Maintain proper fish handling, storage, and rotation standards
• Set up, break down, and keep a tight, organized workspace
• Partner with the kitchen team to deliver seamless, high-quality service
