Strategic Account Manager

About the role:Carimus is a custom software development and digital strategy firm serving clients in Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Government. The Strategic Account Manager owns 2 to 3 of our largest client accounts, totaling approximately $3M in annual revenue. This is a farmer role: the job is to deepen relationships, expand scope, and grow revenue inside existing accounts. The role is accountable for both account growth and overall delivery, and leads the project managers and delivery staff assigned to those accounts.Responsibilities:Own 2 to 3 strategic accounts with a combined book of approximately $3MGrow assigned accounts by 5% quarter over quarterIdentify and close expansion opportunities across Carimus core service areasBuild executive relationships within client organizationsOwn overall delivery quality and client satisfaction on assigned accountsManage project managers and delivery staff assigned to the accountsLead account planning, QBRs, and account health reviewsPartner with delivery leadership to staff and scope new workForecast account revenue and report on growth, risks, and pipelineQualifications:RequiredApproximately 8 years of experienceBackground in engineering or STEMSales experience in consulting or technology servicesExperience managing enterprise-level accountsProven farmer: track record growing existing accountsExperience leading delivery teams or project managersMust be a U.S. citizen (by birth or naturalization).PreferredIndustry experience in Healthcare & Life SciencesSuccess Metrics:Primary: 5% quarter-over-quarter revenue growth on assigned accounts (about 21.6% annualized)Supporting:Client retention and satisfactionOn-time, on-budget deliveryExpansion into new service areas within accountsAccurate account forecastingCompensationWe offer a competitive base salary plus a 3% commission.About Carimus: We are Carimus, a brand experience and digital transformation agency.
