Staff Acountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant at a Law firm in Downtown Boston, MA, 02109. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of daily accounting experience in a professional services environment (law firm/accounting firm).
This is a temporary role (est. 3-6 months), the hourly pay rate is between $35.00 and $42.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within 40-hour work week.
On-site 5 days per week.
Starts September 23rd, 2026.

- Payroll processing (calculating wages and deductions)
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- Record financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments and receipts)
- Prepare income statements and balance sheets
- Assist with tax preparation
- Maintain financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of daily accounting experience in a professional services environment (law firm/accounting firm)
- Payroll processing
- High proficiency with Excel
- Ability to manage multiple items at once
- Strong system skills and reconciliation skills
